Next week Hubbie is going away for a couple of days and then Lotta is coming back again. Who knows what we get into this time ;)

Also Nox took his first steps today! Yay!! Can't believe a year has almost passed by since he was born. He is such a joy!

Sewing, sewing, sewing

Earlier this week my friend Lotta came to visit and we spent two whole days in my sewing room sewing. When she went home I had finished two new bags and I love the way they turned out!

 I also started making a new quilt from a jelly roll.

We also had time to bake and made these delicious macrons with creamy chocolate in between.

The day after Lotta went home these was in my mailbox and I immediately started cutting fabrics for the Angel project tote.

Also I made these for one of the projects in the magazine.

And before I knew it, this patchwork case was made :) The pattern is Lynette Anderson's and it was so easy to make and looks adorable. I'm certainly making more of these!

Now I'm off to the cuttingmat! More projects in progress ;)

Luleå

Spent the weekend at a quiltgathering in Luleå at Quilterian. It was so nice to meet old friends and make new ones. Thank you all for a lovely weekend!! It's been an inspiring weekend and I can't wait to continue with my projects.

Market Baguette by Cinderberry Stitches

Ages ago I made the stitcheries for the market baguette bag by Cinderberry Stitches. Then I didn't feel like cuttig all the 1,5" strips for the bag and figured I would by a honeybun to solve that problem. Since there's no quiltshoppes where I live I started searching the internet but never seemed to find a honeybun I liked... But then suddenly a couple of weeks ago I knew what to do! Here's the result and I just LOVE my market baguette bag!

I like it so much I couldn't help myself so I also made a smaller bag using selvages.

Makeing progress.

I couldn't resist the Bunny Hill scrappy plate club so I pulled out one of my many scrap bins

and started cutting.

240 pieces! And I didn't even make a dent in the scrap bin! First seem has been sewn

The second one too...

Pretty soon I'm gonna have me some dresden plates!

Sewing again!

I've been sewing again! Made a Quilt for baby Henny that saw the light of day december 28. She also got a toy and a wheat warmer. The wheat warmer is my own pattern and I'm not going to show it to you just yet ;)

Also I made this book cover. In this book I write down all the clever thing that comes out our boys' mouths =)

Slowly...

I'm VERY slowly getting my sewingroom together. I think it'll be great once i'm done and I can already feel the inspiration coming back. Several projects that I want to begin with and some of mothers projects that I want to finish. As soon as I'm all done I will show you pictures ;-)

Today I went into my sewingroom for the first time since mom died. It still looks the same since the move in early January. Nothing is in its right place, it's all a mess and nothing is really unpacked.

Idag fanns både jag och min hobby på ett dubbeluppslag i Norran! En jättefin artikel om mitt quiltberoende hade de knåpat ihop!

Today you could read about me and my interest for makeing quilts in the local newspaper Norran. How great is that!

Syhelg i Kåge / Sewing weekend in Kåge

I helgen hade Kviltarna syhelg hos Marica i Kåge. Kan tyvärr inte visa vad jag sydde eftersom det är en smula hemligt fortfarande =) Det blev en mycket trevligt helg med massor av sömnad, god mat och fantastiskt sällskap! Stina kunde tyvärr inte komma men det löste vi med dator och webkamera!

This past weekend Kviltarna had a sewingweekend at Marica's. Unfortunately I can't show you what I was sewing on as it is still a secret =) We had a wounderful weekend with lots of sewing, good food and great company! Stina was unable to be with us this time but we easily solved the problem with a computor and a webcam!

Kändis? / Celebrity?

Idag har jag haft besök av vår lokala tidning som intervjuat mig angående mitt quiltintresse - jätteroligt! Vet inte riktigt när artikeln kommer i tidningen men de skulle maila mig. Jag ser verkligen fram emot att få se och läsa artikeln det är ju inte varje dag man är "kändis".

Apropå nåt helt annat så kom denna skönhet idag - min nya kakburk!

Today our local newspaper came to visit and learn more about my quilthobby - so much fun! I don't know when the artical will be in the paper yet but the reporter promised to mail me. I'm so looking forward to see and read the artical it's not everyday you are "a celebrity".

This beauty also came today - my new cookie-jar!

Lite sytt. / Some sewing done.

I går fick jag lite sytid så jag gjorde klart dessa underbara hjärtan som Jenny of ELEFANZ designat och de hänger nu i ett av mina fönster.

Yesterday I got some sewing done and I finished these wounderful hearts that Jenny of ELEFANZ has designed and they are now hanging in one of my windows.
